Positive Reviews From Customers

Charging used to be a tricky hassle—now it’s safe, convenient, and fast.

I had been dragging a 50 ft. extension cord down an embankment, which was especially dangerous during winter, and across the sidewalk to charge our EV. In the summertime the level 1 mobile charger would overheat and trip the breaker on the exterior outlet or fail in some other way. The previous bids I had for a permanent level 2 charging system had all been inadequate until I contacted Underdog EV.

We spent a little time working out all the details for our specific site and they had already solved the security and aesthetic issues. Charging the car used to be a tricky hassle and now it is safe, convenient, and fast. We are extremely happy with our Underdog EV charging system.

Everything is easier, faster, and better since installation.

We are very happy that we went with Underdog EV to install a curbside level 2 charger outside our house. Previously, we had been hauling an extension cord out at night and putting it over the sidewalk with a cord cover, then hauling it in every morning. It was not fun and increasingly not so as we had to do it in the dark and rain during the winter months before going to work.

The Underdog EV team was able to put in a discrete, easy to use, and secure curbside box with the electrical routed under the sidewalk in just one day. Everything is easier, faster, and overall better since it was installed. Highly recommend other EV owners consider using UnderdogEV for their needs

No more fighting for a charging spot—worth every penny.

As a city dweller with only curbside parking, when we did a big remodel on our house last year the hope was to have a home charger installed. Sadly, the electricians we hired were terrible and the spot I planned to put it didn’t work out.

So, I continued to fight the other EV owners for the 12 spots available in our office parking garage. Having to get up earlier and earlier to find an open spot – we have over 5,000 employees … As EVs grow in popularity at our office, I wasn’t looking forward to winter when I have to charge more often.

When I heard the commercial on NPR for Underdog I was excited and nervous about getting a quote – as stated above our last dealings with electricians ended up costing almost 3x more than their initial estimate. Setting up the site review was simple and quick. We thought our panel was maxed out so we got two quotes – one for if the panel could work as-is and one if we had to upgrade to higher amps.

The day they came to install it the electrician was great – he was able to find a way to make our current (expensive) panel work. They were careful in digging the trench for the conduit and covering it back up. The box is small and secure. The work was completed quickly and competently and will save me the hours of getting up early to get to work to find an open spot. I think it will pay for itself in a few years. It was well worth it.
